The first concert of the 2015-2016 season for the Skokie Valley Symphony Orchestra takes place on Sunday, October 11 with a blockbuster program.

Exploring the works of the teachers who influenced Beethoven, our soloist Brannon Cho will perform the ever popular Haydn Cello Concerto #1 in C Major. It will be thrilling to hear our 2015 First Prize Young Artist Winner.  He has been winning competitions all over the world and we will be among the many who are experiencing this rising star talent.  Be sure to read more about him under the 2015-2016 SEASON page.

We have a rising star conductor too! Maestro McConnell will take up the baton with an orchestra eager to get back to the rigors of orchestral playing. You won't want to miss it.  So bring your friends too! Want more information on the stars?  Go to the OUR ARTISTS page.
